Campania white wines

Campania white wines Campania was an important wine-growing region in Roman times, but when the volcano Vesuvius suddenly erupted, the port town of Pompeii and wine-growing in Campania came to an abrupt end. After the reconstruction of viticulture, more and more winemakers in Campania are focusing on quality wines, and with the help of new vinification techniques, better wines are being made than before. Due to the eruption of Vesuvius, there is a soil of volcanic soil, which gives Campania a unique piece of viticulture with fresh white wines. Campania currently has 13 DOC and 3 DOCG .
