Piedmont white wines

Piedmont white wines, called Piemonte or Piemont is famous for its fine wines from the Nebbiolo de Barolo and barbaresco, Dolcetto, Barbera. The Piedmont wine region is located in the northwestern corner of Italy, in the shadow of the Alps. Beautiful white wines are also made from the Moscato, Cortese and Arneis. The Arneis wines as we know them today are dry, fresh and delicate. In addition to wine, the Piemonte region is also known for its white truffles.
