Azienda Mario Giribaldi Langhe Bianco Campo d. Fichi this chardonnay has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Floral notes of pineapple, vanilla and sage on the nose. In the mouth it is pleasantly fresh with exotic fruit (passion flower) and sweet vanilla. A slightly aromatic aftertaste.
PRODUCTION ZONE
Azienda Mario Giribaldi Langhe Bianco Campo d. Fichi this Chardonnay comes from the Rodello region and is located 460 meters above sea level. The vineyard is 0.68 hectares in size on hilly terrain with marl and calcareous soils and rich in calcium carbonate, permeable and with a south-western exposure.
VINEYARDS
The vineyard is composed exclusively of the Chardonnay grape variety . The pruning system is adapted Casarsa with 4,500 vines per hectare. The vines are grown organically and are certified with the CEE certification.
TECHNOLOGICAL LISTINGS
A soft pressing of the grapes and a cold decantation for 24 hours: a temperature-controlled fermentation (18-20°C) for 40 % of the must for 30 days, then a rest on its yeast (lie) for 80 days, while the other 60 % is fermented in wooden barrels for 120 days and then reassembled. The wine is affiliated in the Bottle for a minimum of six months.
CHARACTERISTICS
A straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Floral notes of pineapple, vanilla and sage on the nose. In the mouth it is pleasantly fresh with exotic fruit (passion flower) and sweet vanilla. A slightly aromatic aftertaste.
FOOD PAIRING
A pleasant aperitif, it goes well with tasty fish dishes, shellfish and light cheese.
