Finca Sobreno Reserva

Tasting note:

A sturdy Tempranillo matured for 14 months in wooden new French and American barrels, this wine should be drunk with hearty dishes with lots of flavor such as game with forest fruit sauce. The color is deep dark red with purple tones, the nose has a powerful yet elegant note of ripe berries, herbs, vanilla and chocolate.

Bodega Sobreno

Located in the municipality of Toro, surrounded by a 24 hectare vineyard, the winery was built in 1999, inspired by the traditional architecture of the area. A modern and functional winery, designed to produce great, fine wines, maximizing the personality of the old vines and efficiently integrating the latest technical developments.

On the top floor we also have a large room, perfect for meetings. Its roots in the land and the decision to set foot on solid ground led the winery to build the tasting room on a 15th century floor of the Church of Castro Verde de Campos (Zamora), possibly one of the oldest in the area . The rest of the furnishings maintain the traditional Castilian style, with tables that are restored threshing floors (traditional agricultural tools from the area).

Production takes place in a room with stainless steel tanks, which stand out for their proportions, which are lower and wider than normal, to obtain wines with more color and aromatic intensity. Adjacent are both the barrel room and the bottle room, which are specially conditioned both thermally and acoustically to maintain constant temperature and humidity.
