Finca Sobreno Crianza

Tasting note:

This Crianza has matured for 8 months in wooden French and American barrels, then another 16 months in the bottle before being released on the market. This wine goes well with all types of meat, poultry, seafood in sauce or pasta, but ideal with red meat. or big game.

West of the Ribeira del Duero and Rueda lies the Toro wine-growing region, which has only had its designation of origin since 1987. The wines in this area are not very well known, but are becoming increasingly popular.

The red wines are extracted from Tinta de Toro (= a local name for Tempranillo) and Garnacha. By law, Tinta de Toro must contain at least 75% of the wine.

The best wines of the region consist of 100% Tinta de Toro.Door By increasingly using modern production techniques and only settling for the very best and ripest grapes, the wines have become increasingly better in recent years.

The wines from Finca Sobreno are very well received by the international wine press. They are known as the fastest rising star on the Duero and this is regularly reflected in the number of medals with which the wines are awarded. Finca Sobreno (made from 100% Tinta de Toro) is a very sturdy, powerful and tannin-rich wine.

Fully ripe, concentrated and complex with a beautiful aroma oa blueberries, blackberries and vanilla. After several years of storage, this wine will certainly become even better. The wine can also be called crianza after no less than 12 months of barrel maturation
