The name organic is legally protected and guidelines for organic products and cultivation are laid down in legislation. Even if the word, bio or organic is on a product, it must meet the requirements for organic products. The quality mark for organic guarantees that organic wine is really organic. But for winemakers, that quality mark is of course not the aim. They work organically because they believe in organic farming and the power of nature.
