Albet i Noya Les Timbes Bio
Tasting note:
Made from rare autochthonous grape varieties, some of which have been rediscovered after long research, and a subtle use of barriques result in a versatile wine. Aromas of wild berries and cherries, spicy and compact. Fine-grained tannins make the Les Timbes accessible despite their strength.
Albet i Noya
Albet i Noya is one of the leading wineries in the Penedes and is certainly (and rightly so) the most prestigious organic winery in Spain. Today, Antoni and Josep run the company that their father bought from the former landowner at great financial risk. The family had worked for him as stewards for generations. The two are typical representatives of the modern Catalan post-French generation: self-confident, enterprising, cosmopolitan and very careful about the autonomy of their region and its culture.
