Italian red wines

Italian red wines can be found throughout the country, but the most famous places are the Veneto and Tuscany. Common grape varieties are the Sangiovese , Barbera, Rondinella , Nebbiolo , Montepulciano just to name a few. Italy has about 1000 species. Italy offers a wide selection of quality red wines, such as Amarone, Barolo , Barbaresco and Brunello di Montalcino. Italian red wines are very diverse. This is also due to the indigenous grape varieties that Italy has and of course due to the areas where these grapes come into their own.
