Gerard Bigonneau Reuilly

Wine from Reuilly, made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. In the color bright green-yellow. Scents such as freshly mown grass and asparagus waft from the glass. Wonderfully fresh, fruity in the mouth with a refined acidity. A lively wine, pure and fresh with aspects of both asparagus and citrus in its aroma. Delicious with a summer salad or a nice bowl of sushi and sashimi.

Domaine Bigonneau

Domaine Bigonneau is located between Mereau and Brinay and is a vinification of both AOC Quincy and Reuilly, in La Chagnat. The estate comes from a family farm and winery for generations. At the beginning of the 80s, Gerard Bigonneau took the opportunity to build a vineyard on the slopes of the town of Reuilly. Today it is his daughter, Virginie, who manages the operation of the estate and maintains the quality and know-how of the wines.

The vineyard covers 16 hectares and makes Virginie a passion and profession that brings pleasure and subtlety. The Sauvignon grape variety gives the white wines of the appellation a rather unique light golden color. It exudes aromas of white fruits that mingle with a spicy note of lemon. It is a wine that goes perfectly with fish, seafood and goat cheeses. The Bigonneau wine estate in Brinay (18) is a producer of white Reuilly wine.
