Veneto rose wines The rose wines from the Veneto are mainly made from 3 different grape varieties, namely Pinot Nero, Prosecco and Raboso. The Veneto has volcanic and calcareous soils in the northern part of the Veneto, but you will also find soils with lime, clay and gravel. The most important wine regions in the Veneto are the Valpolicella , Soave and Prosecco. The rosé wines from the Veneto are wonderfully fresh wines that certainly fit well as an aperitif on the terrace. These rosé wines also go well with salads or various shellfish dishes.
