This Azienda Mario Giribaldi Barbaresco has a ruby red color with garnet reflexes. Wild roses, raspberries and cinnamon on the nose. Taste sensations of vanilla, tobacco, leather and green tea leaves.
PRODUCTION ZONE
This Barbaresco comes from the vineyard in Neive and is located 350 meters above sea level. The soil is marl and lime, the vineyard is south-facing where it gets plenty of sun.
TRIM SYSTEM AND VINEYARDS
The vineyard is composed exclusively of Nebbiolo grape variety, The trimming system is Guyot with 5,100 vines per hectare.
VINIFICATION
A traditional vinification of the grapes for 12 days with several pumpovers during the day and a controlled temperature of 30/35 ° C to optimize the extraction. After resting for 5 months in stainless steel, the wine matures for 24 months in oak barrels and then in the bottle until sold.
