Chateau Le Vieux Fort
Château Le Vieux Fort is ideally located at the tip of the Medoc, in the town of Valeyrac, near the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. Since 1925, the Bergey family has been writing the history of this property, now managed by the 4th generation.
The terroir is representative of the Médoc by its diversity, with three plots with different characteristics that allow a multiple conjugation of the assemblages.
The castle can also count on old vines, 30 years old, to offer this material and concentration that selects the great wines. The means implemented for better control of yields (high planting density, green harvest…) facilitate the production of quality grapes, which once sorted will age in completely renovated cellars. The Bourgeois Cru of character!
