Shipped worldwide, large selection of wines
Tasting note:
Straw yellow with green hues. Medium to high intensity with citrus and white flowers. (acacia and orange blossom) Tropical background with lychees.
This 100% Albariño is made from selected grapes from the best vineyards, which are grown on sandy loam soils, granite and slightly acidic. The wine is fermented in stainless steel at 16 °C (60 °F) for 21 days and remains on its fine lees until stabilization and bottling.
About 12 grape varieties are grown in Rias Baixas, but with 96% of the plantings, albariño is by far the most important grape. In addition to the albariño, other white varieties such as the torrontés, loureira, treixadura and caiño are also planted.
The blue grapes grown in Rías Baixas are mencia and espadeiro, but these are of little importance. The focus in this region is on producing white Albarino wines. And they are good at that. Rias Baixas wines are highly sought after.
