Chardonnay
For a long time no distinction was made between the grape varieties Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay , because the differences are difficult for the eye to perceive. Chardonnay has been grown in Alto Adige for some 150 years and is now one of the leading white wine varieties.
Vinification
Whole bunch pressing of ripe, healthy grapes, fermentation at a temperature of 18°C, aging for 3 months on the fine yeast in stainless steel.
Vineyard
Steep, sloping vineyards facing south and east at 350 - 450 meters above sea level. Loamy, calcareous gravel, heat retaining and well drained
