Domane Wachau

  Our vineyards are pure handiwork and sweat. They are increasingly found on steep terraces where mechanical work is not possible. Biodiversity and sustainability play a central role. In order to guarantee the vines in the vineyards a vital environment and to guarantee an ecological balance, we trust our winemakers on green soil. They promote biodiversity, adapt the foliage to the weather conditions and increasingly rely on organic farming. With the continuous restoration of the dry stone walls and the dikes around the vineyards, they also make a decisive contribution to the preservation of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wachau. Our work in the vineyard is landscape maintenance in the best sense of the word.

The vineyard wines are our top wines and come from vineyards such as Loibenberg, Achleiten, Kollmitz, Kellerberg, 1000-Eimer-Berg, Axpoint or Singerriedel. The individual terroir of the individual vineyards is clearly expressed in these strictly limited single-vineyard bottlings, some of which are sold out every year
