Tasting note:
Chateau Minuty Bailly Rosé is soft pink in color and has subtle aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cherry. This French rosé from Provence has a fresh and juicy taste. This rose is made from a blend of Cinsault and Grenache grapes. The wine goes well with dishes from Asian cuisine, but is also delicious to drink as an aperitif or on a summer evening.
Overlooking the iconic Bay of St Tropez, the Château Minuty winery is remarkably well situated on the slopes of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle and its vines benefit from a temperate maritime climate.
CHÂTEAU MINUTY IS SURROUNDED BY 55 HECTARES OF CONTINUOUS VINEYARDS ON CALCAREOUS, COLORED SOIL, WITH AN ADDITIONAL 40 HECTARES ON LIMESTONE SOIL IN VIDAUBAN AND ANOTHER 17 HECTARES ON THE HILLSIDES OF VALDERIAN IN RAMATUELLE WHICH BENDS BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF THE BAY OF PAMPELONNE .
The vines benefit from very deep soil which is mainly used for Grenache. Special attention is paid to site-specific planting - each variety is expertly planted in the most suitable part of the property so that it can reach its full potential.
The plots around the castle are planted with Grenache, a variety that flourishes in this deep, almost stone-free soil. The south-facing plots, favored by generous sunshine, are dedicated to the red wine varieties Syrah and Mourvèdre. The more rocky, calcareous slopes are conducive to a more mineral-based expression and are therefore planted with Rolle.
Being south-east facing, the vineyard is directly influenced by the nearby Mediterranean Sea. The wines therefore offer a subtle character brought about by the sea air. The sea breeze dries the vines after morning dew or rain and directly contributes to reducing the risk of disease.
