Pouilly Fuisse, Burgundy, France - An abundance of flavors with mineral notes, citrus, white fruit, brioche and honey. An excellent choice when serving shellfish.

Comes from a plot of old vines, located in the heart of the hamlet of Pouilly and a first-class cuvée, coming from a calcareous clay soil.

THE DOMAIN

All the finesse of great Burgundy

Ideally located at the foot of the famous Roche de Solutré, in the hamlet of Pouilly, the Trouillet estate currently managed by William (4th generation) today extends over about twenty hectares, a sign of great dynamism because Jules Guérin, the great-grandfather of William, started with a sharecropping of 4 hectares which his son Jean subsequently operated for 45 years. The expansion took place gradually over generations, allowing us today to produce several recognized appellations: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint Véran, Pouilly Vinzelles, Pouilly Loché and Mâcon Solutré.

OUR TERROIRS

Our vines, on average 40 to 50 years old,

are planted on the clay-limestone soils of 6 municipalities surrounding the estate: Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé, Loché, Vinzelles, Leynes, Davayé.

They benefit from exceptional terroirs with different exposures, producing a wide range of dry and fruity wines of great complexity, to delight the most demanding palates.

OUR WINES

The expansion took place gradually,

through the generations, allowing us today to produce several recognized appellations: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint Véran, Pouilly Vinzelles, Pouilly Loché and Mâcon Solutré.
