This wine smells abundantly in the nose of ripe wild fruit. The attack is good and balanced, fruity with a small, delicate balsamic touch at the end. Definitely worth a try if you have not yet drunk this wine.

Feudi Wijnen

The Campania wine region – with Naples as its capital – covers around 30,000 hectares of vineyards and produces approximately 2 million hectoliters of wine annually, the majority of which is red. The wine from the Aglianico grape variety, mainly grown in the hills of Irpinia, stands out in the red. With white, the aromatic, lively wine of the fiano variety is the most fascinating, next to those of falanghina and piedirossi. The last two varieties grow in volcanic soil near Naples and still have their original rhizomes: the very harmful grape aphid phylloxera (which affects European rhizomes; reason to replace them with American ones) cannot survive in this type of soil

One of the cornerstones of St. Gregory Fiefs' vision is the belief that a Bottle of wine and a work of art are the same creative process.

The love and passion in the cultivation of the wine, the effort in the process of making the wine and the patient making it an authentic work of art.

These are the same feelings and emotions that guide artists in their creative processes when making a sculpture, a photograph, a painting or an installation.

In light of this approach, Feudi di San Gregorio establishes collaborations with fruitful and continuous exchange of knowledge and creativity.

Irpinia, in the historical region of the Campanian Apennines, is a unique viticultural and wine region, where olive trees and herbs are combined with fruit trees: a rugged and gentle area with a strong and genuine identity.

Irpinia is an ancient inland whose vineyards were even described by ancient authors such as Pliny, Columella and Strabo. The Irpinia region is very varied, with a succession of mountains, hills and plains with rivers and streams in between.

The territory of the orography causes a system of winds that gives the region good rainfall and creates a microclimate that distinguishes it from the other Campania areas: the vegetation is varied and thick; the short winters are extremely cold and snowy, while the summers are mild and long.

This is not Campania, it's Irpinia!

Feudi wines Campania Italy

Feudi di San Gregorio today embodies the oenological renaissance of southern Italy, promoting a wine culture for the rediscovery of Mediterranean flavours. Promoting grape varieties from southern Italy, such as Aglianico, Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo, to invest in the land and in the ancient tradition of winemaking, providing a future for a unique ecological heritage. Founded in 1986 by two Irpine families, Feudi di San Gregorio has its roots in the town of Sorbo Serpico in the province of Avellino.

Since the early days, the winery has focused on maintaining high-quality productions and the most stringent requirements of the market. The new winery was inaugurated in 2004, following Feudi di San Gregorio's desire to combine its ancient tradition with a futuristic architectural project. Climbing up the hill to the Serbian Serb, you enter a magical world with streams of water, herb gardens and blooming rose bushes.

The biggest surprise, however, is inside the winery, with its long barrel cellar where the red wines are stored.
