Pierre Chanier

The castles on ancient soils dominate the Loire in the canton of Château d'Amboise, a land of passage and sometimes residence of the greatest kings of France and men of culture. Leonardo da Vinci, Cezanne, Proust, Princess Orsini and the Daudet family have all stayed in the region, where it has been producing wine since the 4th century, at the time of St. Martin of Tours. The heritage of the Chainier House is steeped in this history and reflects the rich heritage of the Loire Valley.

The history of the Chainier family begins in the 18th century when Pierre Chainier’s ancestors cultivated vines in Bordeaux. After a few years, the Chainier House was founded in the Loire Valley in 1973. This tradition has been passed down from father to son and the Chainier House now brings together many professional experts, partners, wineries and major importers. It can therefore offer wines from its vinification and selections as well as from its own vineyards.

TODAY, THE CHAINIER HOUSE REPRESENTS 250 HA IN THE HEART OF TOURAINE AND PRODUCES THE BEST WINES OF THE LOIRE VALLEY, EXPORTING THEM ON FIVE CONTINENTS WITH THE SAME COMMITMENT TO QUALITY.

The diversity of soils and microclimates of the region, a variety of beacons of exceptions, can produce an incredible variety of wines. The marriage of these exceptions; Land and love for the chain Chainier for its vineyards offers unique assemblages, for powerful and fine wines popular both in France and abroad that continuously receive the most prestigious awards.

Domaine Pierre Chainier

Take a look at the estates in the heart of the Loire Valley, where great wines are made in a majestic, world-famous setting.
