Shipped worldwide, large selection of wines
This aromatic and full-bodied red wine grows in Puglia, deep in the south of Italy on the south coast of the Salento peninsula. The DOC region is named after the city of Manduria. The Phoenicians already grew wine here in the hot, dry climate. The Primitivo variety has adapted very well to the conditions and produces a deeply colored, violet-red wine. It smells of ripe red fruit, accented with various herbs. On the palate it pleases with its large body and velvety tannins, which are supported by a fine barrique note. Brunilde di Menzione Primitivo di Manduria DOC was kept in barriques for about 4 months to complete it.
