Domaine de Nizas Syrah Cabernet Mazet
Tasting note:
Syrah is the king grape in the volcanic vineyards of Domaine de Nizas. Together with the Cabernet Sauvignon it gives this round, velvety blend with seductive notes of juicy red and dark fruit, herbs and spices.
Domaine de Nizas
Located near the medieval village of Pézenas in the heart of the Languedoc, Domaine de Nizas was founded in 1998. It has 38 hectares of vines planted in the three appellations of Languedoc-Pézenas, Languedoc and Pays d'Oc. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre are the four main red grape varieties, while Roussanne, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc make up the majority of white grapes. Since 2018, François Lurton has been in charge of viticulture and winemaking.
