In 1967, Umberto Cesari follows his dream. He buys a 20 hectare vineyard in the picturesque Emilia-Romagna to grow the very best Sangiovese . Against all common beliefs, without capital or knowledge, he embarks on his passionate adventure.
Umberto Cesari was the first producer to believe in the potential of the Sangiovese Grape , a confidence that later gained international resonance and remains an unshakable cornerstone of his wine philosophy to this day. The history of Umberto Cesari is one of family ties, years of dedication and perseverance.
