The Prisoner Unshackled Red Blend

Tasting note:

The red wine Unshackled from The Prisoners winery was born in California, in vineyards in Monterey County, North Coast, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Lodi.

It consists of a blend of red grapes, including Tannat, Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are pressed and vinified at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for 9 months in American and French wooden barrels.

Ruby red in colour, with aromas of berries, cardamom and white pepper on the nose. The sip is full and balanced, with a soft and persistent finish.

Delicious in combination with stewed red meat and game.

The Prisoner Wine Company is located at Napa Valley's legendary Highway 29 welcomes visitors year-round for unexpected, immersive experiences.
