Shipped worldwide, large selection of wines
Château Lamande is one of the oldest vineyards in Saint Emilion and is located in the north of the appellation. The soil is particularly varied and consists of clay, sand, iron residues and iron-rich clay. The quality of the wines has been largely constant for many years. Since 1970, when the winery was renovated, the wines have enjoyed a particularly good reputation.
Located in Soutard, Saint-Emilion, these 20 hectares of vines thrive in the clay-chalk soil. A blend of Merlot , Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon is vinified by the talented Véronique Corporandy, who is also the winemaker of Château Soutard. The extraction process doesn't take long, just enough to get a good structure and firm tannins. 60 % of the aging takes place in new barrels and 40 % in barrels that have already been used for one or more wines
